Friday Resource Roundup – August 20, 2021

1. I’ve been trying to learn film vocabulary before I start school this fall and found The Columbia Film Language Glossary to be helpful, especially the video clip examples for each term.

2. A great interview with editor Lee Smith, A.C.E. by Moviola.

3. I learned about editor Adam Epstein through an Adobe blog post on five editing tips Adam Epstein learned from his time at SNL.

4. Valentina Vee also has a great video with Adam Epstein with tips on quick turnarounds.

5. Look forward to exploring Larry Jordan’s list of editing and film websites.

Friday Resource Roundup is my weekly summary of five resources that informed or inspired me during the week.
